Green Mountain Boys' State

Green Mountain Boys' State is a civics-oriented program for young men between their junior and senior year in high school. It is a hands-on learning experience where the delegates establish local, county and state governments through town meetings and elections. After a very hectic start, it culminates with the inauguration of our own governor of Boys' State followed by a legislative session that takes place in the House and Senate chambers in the Statehouse in Montpelier.
